Most of the works on this site are crafted using a combination of hand-polishing and distressing techniques (see product details for specific processes). Each piece carries unique hand-polished marks or an unrepeatable patina—rugged, authentic, and imperfect, which is precisely the soul of heavy jewelry.

If you seek a perfectly smooth, flawless, non-oxidizing machine-polished finish, please purchase with care. We prefer to pass our work to those who appreciate the warmth of the handmade and the traces of time.

Customization Note: If you would like your product without the antiqued finish, please contact us within 3 days after placing your order. Otherwise, the piece will be made with our default antiqued finish (as shown in the product images).

Oxidation & Care (General)

All metals will naturally oxidize over time, with air, and with perspiration (oxidation results vary from person to person). Colors will gradually darken and develop a vintage patina. We encourage you to embrace this change – it is the story of time written together with your jewelry.

If you wish to restore brightness, gently wipe with a soft polishing cloth (dedicated cloth for silver or copper). The antiqued finish may partially lighten.

Material Descriptions (Select the material you choose)

-925 Silver · Sterling Silver-

  • Color: Classic silver-white. After antiquing, it takes on a dark gray to black look, while highlights retain silver brightness. Occasionally, hand-antiquing creates localized blue-purple hues – this unique color will gradually turn gray over time (normal oxidation).

  • Properties: 92.5% silver content, internationally recognized as jewelry-grade. Antiquing enhances detail and depth, becoming more vintage with wear.

  • “Silver’s foundation, the soul of the old – a tribute to every story that refuses to fade.”

    -Nickel Silver-

  • Color: Close to silver-white but with a cooler tone. After antiquing, it shows a light grayish-brown vintage feel.

  • Properties: Contains no silver, yet has a silver-like luster. High hardness, very wear-resistant. Note: Contains trace nickel. Those with nickel allergies are advised to choose 925 silver or other copper-based materials.

  • “Not silver, but with the pride of silver. The king of value for money, born for bold designs.”

    -Brass-

  • Color: Warm golden-yellow. After antiquing, it turns dark brown / dark gold, and over time naturally oxidizes into a unique antique bronze tone.

  • Properties: Copper-zinc alloy, excellent hardness, crisp sound. After oxidation, it develops a deep dark gold color with rich texture.

  • “Every layer of oxidation is time’s signature – some call it old, we call it a story.”

    -Bronze-

  • Color: Deep reddish-brown or grayish-blue. After oxidation, it has a weathered “patina” that feels deeply historical.

  • Properties: Copper-tin alloy, the preferred material for ancient weapons and sculptures. Very heavy in feel, each piece is as unique as an unearthed artifact.

  • “Bronze speaks not a word, yet has witnessed millennia. Worn on the body, not just jewelry – an epic.”

    -Copper-

  • Color: Warm rose gold to orange-red. After antiquing, it turns reddish-brown to dark chocolate.

  • Properties: Over 99% pure copper, skin-friendly and warm. Oxidizes quickly, becoming darker or brighter depending on the wearer’s skin pH – full of change and delight.

  • “It will slowly become a color that belongs only to you, together with your body heat and time.”

No two pieces of metal are exactly the same, and no two heavy jewelry pieces are identical. Embrace imperfection – that is where your uniqueness begins.
